When enough drumsticks have been collected they are traded in for a missile which can do great damage to the encroaching chicken army. When chickens are shot down they turn into drumsticks which can be collected. As is the custom with shoot-'em-up games, any time the player loses a life, any power-ups are lost too. Power-ups look like gifts that must be collected in order to be used. As the game progresses, the player can earn power-ups that help him or her to score points and defeat the chickens more easily.
